Writes about how business is going, the money made and the amount he is sending home. Wishes they could sell their house in Kalamazoo and all live in Chicago, but not sure what is best as he would only be at home for 5-7 hours a day as he is so busy.

Dear ones at home
Claude[1] came this am found us all ok. Had a good day yesterday – made 283 negatives and took in 45.00 cash. I went down town this am and deposited 4825 so that have 15225. Send you a check for 2500 leaving bal of 12725. You can get M Harris to cash check and if he dont want to do it you can go to bank and get it. They ought not charge anything to cash it. Business is fair to day as I am on third plate now and it is about 1.30 now. Got your letter this am also the one Claude brought. You can do just as you see fit about telephone. I am willing you should keep it but if you have it taken out you will have 1800 a year to spend for something else. I wish we could sell out there and move over here but dont know as you would want to do so and perhaps it would not be for the best. I dont know, and if we did live here I would be at home about 5 to 7 hours out of the 24 so it dont make much difference any way. I would like to slip in when you get cleaned & fixed up and see how nice you look. It is the hottest day we have had and is very uncomfortable. I am so sleepy I can hardly write and in fact dont know what I am writing. I will close and slip out and mail this so good bye.
Love to all
H A Brown
