Dec 17 – Pleasant. Helped wash. Harvey came up with Mark. Went over to the burg. Flanders got his bobs.
Dec 18 – Rains some. Sarah went to the Burg to Benajah Aldrich funeral. Rainy day & night. Whiting moved.
Dec 19 – Rainy. Cleared the Cridland House. Went up to Yorks in the Evening. Lois came home. Sent letter to G. T.
Dec 20 – Cloudy Rained some. Went over to the Burg got my Bench over. Richardson drawed it over.
Dec 21 – Snows like fun. Worked up to the shop. Stormy day snowed & blowed all day.
Dec 22 – Moved my stuff out of the shop. York helped me. Carried Patty & Mother up to Hellens.
Dec 23 – Pleasant. At home all day. Wesley came down & cut my hair.
Dec 24 – Very cold. York came down went & drawed my lumber over.
Dec 25 – Snows. Went over and got my potatoes. B two prs shoes 1.50 and skein thread 5.
Dec 26 – Pleasant. Worked in shop. Put up bench. Bot book 25 paper 10. Sent letter to Omro 3 licorice 1.
Dec 27 – Worked in shop commenced Charleys sleigh.
Dec 28 – Cold. Killed nine hens. Bot chisel 50 clasp for door 12 Bill for attending _______ 25 one chamber 35 half lb tea 25. 1.50. Carried Miss Hoxie down to Raywoods.
Dec 29 – Stormy. Richardson Brot load wood. Worked in shop some. Sarah & Patty went over to Celia Newmans.
Dec 30 – Cold day. At home all day.
Dec 31 – Pleasant and cold. Killed my pig. Wesley helped me.
